09/02/2017

Valencia Basket has closed this afternoon with a great party in the Fonteta their fifth "One Team" project with the last practice session and the delivery of diplomas to the children of the Caritas Ivy who have participated in the program of Corporate Social Responsibility led and driven by Euroleague Basketball. At the end of the last training session, the young participants received this recognition to their involvement and their effort from the marketing manager of Valencia Basket and One Team Manager, Victor Luengo. The afternoon closed with a farewell snack.

The head of Valencia Basket for the One Team Projects, our legend Víctor Luengo, explains “we are very happy with this One Team Project, we have seen a very good mixing between coaches and kids”. For Victor Luengo, “the most important for us is see how the kids can understand the values we want to share and how can they translate them to their lives, values against racismo or violence”. What about the future? “For the last 4 years, we have been working on One Team Projects and for us, talking about future, is very important to continue with this work”.

This Project has 10 practices, starting now, and finishing on February. We want youngsters to live positive experiences and healthy habits to be able to transfer them on scholarship or in their working experiences. Valencia Basket players Sam Van Rossom and Luke Sikma will take part on practices as ambassadors.
