19/11/2018

Valencia Basket will travel tomorrow to Serbia to play the 7DAYS EuroCup regular season round 8 game that will take the taronja squad to visit the Partizan NIS Belgrade’s court for the first time in its European history (Wednesday 21, 19:00h, Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, Teledeporte (direct on web, delayed on DTT). A triumph in Serbia, where Valencia Basket took their last win almost nine years ago, would qualify our team mathematically for the Top16 of this competition, although a triumph of Zenit St.Petersburg against the Dolomiti Energia Trento could qualify our team for the second round before even finishing the match in Belgrade.

The first time in Pionir vs. Partizan

After a European career of 341 games in international competitions, Valencia Basket will play for the first time in its history on the court of Partizan NIS Belgrade. Something that is especially curious, especially if we look at the close ties between the two entities, with 12 players who have defended the jerseys of both teams. In the match of the first round, which ended with a taronja win by 79-71, the black and white team became the 95th different rival against which Valencia Basket has faced in European competitions.
