Carrera: “ You go to the youth national teams hoping one day to reach the senior team”


Raquel Carrera has been called up for the first time for a meeting of the senior Spanish women's national team. A meeting that, moreover, will take place from November 9 to 13 at the Valencia Basket facilities. The player already stood out last season in the roster of RPK Araski, on loan from the Club, and her great start with the taronja shirt hasn't gone unnoticed by coach Lucas Mondelo. Raquel made her debut in the Super Cup with 7 points and 8 rebounds in 14 minutes, until she was injured, and the call comes after being the best in efficiency of the team in the victory against Spar Girona with 17 of efficiency.
