Valencia Basket defends the fourth position on the Herbalife Gran Canaria’s court

18/05/2021

Valencia Basket returns to competition ten days after their last game to try to defend the fourth position of the Endesa League and its streak of six wins in a row in national competition (Wednesday 19, 9:15 p.m., Gran Canaria Arena, Movistar Deportes 1) in a game corresponding to round 37 of the Endesa League.

The taronja team can even certify its home-court advantage status for the Quarterfinals tomorrow night, although for this the taronja squad would have to break their bad dynamics in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and win on a court where they have lost in their last four visits (and which is the court on which has not won an Endesa League game for the longest time) and also that TD Systems Baskonia fell on its visit to Palau Blaugrana.

It will be a special night for the taronja captain Bojan Dubljevic, who can become the third player to reach 300 Endesa League games with the taronja jersey. Fernando San Emeterio, who has missed the last three games of the Taronja team due to an acromioclavicular sprain in the right shoulder, has already returned to the team's practices and has entered in the 12-players list while the Serbian Vanja Marinkovic is the non-Spanish educated player out of the active roster.
