Bec Allen crowned all-time leading three-pointer and blocker

26/11/2021

Bec Allen has made history in the blink of an eye. After little more than a season in Valencia Basket, the Australian sharpshooter has been crowned top three-pointer and blocker of the women's section of the Club. A portent on both sides of the court.

The player sits on the throne of the shots converted from beyond the 6.75 line, after reaching the figure of 120 three-pointers, with the 2 she made last night. Allen thus equals the historical Sara Saiz, who held the record until now with the same number. Saiz needed 78 games to reach that number, while the Australian has done it in 59. Now, they are followed in the top 5 by Virginia Saez (99), Maria Bettencourt (85) and Begoña Pallardó (78).

Allen's great performance last night also allowed her to reach another historic milestone. The player is already the top blocker of Valencia Basket, after putting a block that equals the 45 that had Meiya Tirera to date. Raquel Carrera (44), Marie Gülich (42) and Tamara Abalde (24) close the top 5. Taking into account that this data started to be registered in LF2.
