Valencia Basket tests its momentum on the complicated court of Gran Canaria

26/12/2022

Valencia Basket will seek to extend its recent good run that has led it to win four of its last five games on the court in which it has not won in the longest time in acb, that of Gran Canaria (Tuesday 27, 9:30 p.m., Gran Canaria Arena, Movistar+ Deportes) in a round 13 game of the Endesa League, important for the aspirations of both teams to be in the next edition of the Copa del Rey.

To continue climbing positions in national competition, the Taronja team will have to break their particular curse at the Gran Canaria Arena, where they have lost on their last seven visits.

The Taronja expedition has traveled this afternoon with the thirteen players available for the double commitment away from home this week, so the coach Álex Mumbrú will decide which of the three non-EU players (Rivero, Webb III or Harper) is left out of the tuesday list.

The Taronja team maintains the absences of the long-term injured Sam Van Rossom, Millán Jiménez and Martin Hermannsson. Valencia Basket begins this round located in the 9th position with 6-6 in the standings.
