Valencia Basket visits the complicated court of Panathinaikos Athens

09/02/2023

Valencia Basket men's team will try to extend their good moment as a visitor in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague on one of the most difficult courts to do so, Panathinaikos Athens’s one (Friday 10, 8:00 p.m., Oaka Altion, DAZN/Movistar+ dial 65) in a game corresponding to round 24 of the top continental competition.

After cutting their winning streak to five with a loss on the last play against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, the Taronja squad will now try to match its best away win streak in the Euroleague on a court that has historically been bad at it, in which they only won on its first visit and where they have not won for 13 years.

To do this, an expedition of thirteen players has traveled to Athens, including Xabi López-Arostegui, although his participation in tomorrow's game will be questionable until the last moment. Captain Bojan Dubljevic and the long-term injured Van Rossom, Hermannsson and Jiménez still sidelined.

Valencia Basket begins this round located in the 9th position of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with a balance of 12-11.
