Valencia Basket closed its very tough tour before the start of the Euroleague with a very hard-fought win on the Unicaja’s court by 76-82 in a game in which tha taronja squad recovered from a bad start of the game and the accuracy in the three-pointers by the Malaga team in the first quarter to balance the clash in the second act from the defensive improvement, but without offensive success to get on top. Although Unicaja once again stretched thanks to Perry's accuracy at the beginning of the third act, ten points in a row from Ojeleye (who debuted as a taronja with 19 points, 4 rebounds and a PIR of 29) balanced the game and then Valencia Basket found the talent of Jones to enter the fourth quarter winning. The Taronja team punished with two of their six three-pointers scored at the beginning of that final act and then they did not let themselves come back even though the Malaga team tried everything and got within two. But Perry and Djedjovic's efforts met the points from Harper and Jones to secure the win in Malaga.
