Titanic effort without reward on the Real Madrid court (96-86)

Valencia Basket fell to Real Madrid in a game in which they forced overtime with a three-pointer from Harper but in which they ended up giving up in extra time. The taronja team was ahead throughout the first half thanks to its initial success in the triple and when its effectiveness decreased due to the increase in the local defensive intensity, it knew how to protect it from behind to go five ahead at halftime. After the intermission, Real Madrid found success in the triple to balance it and Campazzo's final stretch of the third quarter put them on top. A moment from Davies and Puerto put Valencia Basket ahead again, the white team tied it and after five points in a row from Jones, Rodríguez and Llull they gave a minimal advantage to the local team with a minute and a half left. Inglis tied it in the last minute and although a Campazzo triple seemed to kill it, Harper scored another at the final horn to send the game to overtime. The white team played better in overtime to end up maintaining Wizink Center's unbeaten record in the Euroleague.
