End of the Taronja tour on the strong at home Barça's court

03/02/2024

Valencia Basket men's team closes a tour of three away games in a row by visiting the Barça’s court (Sunday 4, 6:30 p.m., Fonteta, #Vamos) in a game that closes round 21 of the Endesa League.

The taronja squad will play on one of the most complicated courts in Europe with the accumulated wear and tear of what will be their fifth game in ten days but with the good feelings of their win in Berlin and the good competitive face shown against this rival in the current season.

After two very competitive games, the Taronja team won the first leg game at La Fonteta by 71-68 and lost on their visit to the Palau Blaugrana in the Euroleague by 74-70.

Although historically it is a court that has been difficult for the Taronja squad, a Valencian win would balance the precedents in Barcelona in national competition in the last decade, which are favorable to the local team by 7-6.

Centers Brandon Davies and Bouba Touré still sidelined, so the non-EU player who is not registered to comply with the Endesa League quota regulations for this match will be the only necessary technical discard.

Valencia Basket begins this round in fifth position in the acb with a balance of 12-8
