Valencia Basket visits the Gran Canaria Arena in its first option to get into the semifinals

29/05/2018

Valencia Basket has traveled this afternoon to Las Palmas to face tomorrow the Endesa League quarterfinals game 2 vs. Herbalife Gran Canaria (Wednesday 30, 22: 00h, Gran Canaria Arena, Movistar Deportes 1) after add the first point of this series winning in the Fonteta by 71-56. The taronja squad will try to extend their good defensive feelings on a court where their rival has become strong this season and where they clearly won the Valencians in the Regular Season game, but in which Valencia Basket won the yellows in the final of the Endesa Super Cup despite having the support of its public.

It will be the first time that Valencia Basket visit Herbalife Gran Canaria for a Playoff game, a court where there is tremendous equality in the precedents, with five wins for each team in the last ten games. The taronja expedition consists of thirteen players, including the Icelandic young center Tryggvi Hlinason, so the coach Txus Vidorreta will have to make a technical discard before the start of the game. The injured Tibor Pleiss, Latavious Williams and Antoine Diot are out for this game.
