Throwback Eurocup 2014: the third title arrived in Kazan


Valencia Basket would return to a European final two years after his title in Vitoria, although the taronja squad lost it on the court of the Khimki Moscow Region. Two years after that defeat, Russia would be a fundamental element on the way to the third EuroCup title for Valencia Basket. The story was about to be rewritten and for the first time in this competition, a team overcame four rounds with the home-court advantage against to end up lifting the title.


Triguero, Ribas, Doellman, Van Rossom, Sato, Lishchuk, Lucic, Dubljevic, Rafa Martinez, Oliver Lafayette, Larry Abia and Pablo Aguilar were the twelve players which left the title in Kazan. Lubos Barton, David Guardia, Oleksiy Pecherov, Pablo Pérez and Luis Sabater also collaborated defending our jersey in that edition of the EuroCup.
