Valencia Basket opens its seventh Endesa League semifinal visiting the Real Madrid's court

05/06/2019

The competition does not give any rest and only 46 hours after finishing its quarterfinals triumph, Valencia Basket will open its semifinal round of the Playoff of the Endesa League vs. Real Madrid (Thursday 6, 21: 00h, Wizink Center, #Vamos) with the first game of a series that has already become a classic, since it is the fourth time in the last five seasons that these two teams are in the post-season.

With no time to practice, the taronja expedition has traveled this afternoon to the capital of Spain without the injured Matt Thomas, ruled out for this series to continue with the recovery of the intervention to which he was subjected in the right thigh, so they will be the same twelve men who knocked down Unicaja 2-1 to face this series against Real Madrid.

The taronja team begins the seventh semifinal of the Endesa League (the sixth in the last eight seasons) with the pleasant memory that the last time he visited this court in a Playoff game he took the victory (by 79-86 in the second match of the final of the 2016-17 season). But being aware that since winning the League in the Fonteta, has not managed to win back this rival in national competition.
