Visit to the RETAbet Bilbao Basket court to close the first leg of the Endesa League

08/01/2021

Less than 48 hours after its European clash on the FC Barcelona’s court, Valencia Basket closes the first leg of the Endesa League by visiting the RETAbet Bilbao Basket court (Saturday 9, 6:00 p.m., Bilbao Arena, Movistar Deportes) in a game which is the third stage of the taronja tour of four away games in a row and which will serve to open round 19.

The taronja team will try to recover the sensations of solidity shown in the first two games of the Endesa League in 2021 and try to extend a streak that is already of seven wins in a row in national competition. A victory for Jaume Ponsarnau's men would also serve to favor Valencia Basket in the history of clashes between these two teams in Bilbao, which is currently tied to nine.

The expedition that this morning has headed to Bilbao from Barcelona still does not have Bojan Dubljevic or Vanja Marinkovic, although Guillem Vives will be able to compete again in the Endesa League after having 16 minutes yesterday at the Palau Blaugrana. Valencia Basket currently occupies the sixth position in the Endesa League with a balance of 11-6.
