Valencia Basket returns to the Endesa League on the MoraBanc Andorra’s court

27/02/2021

Valencia Basket returns to compete in the Endesa League three weeks later after the break for the Copa del Rey and the 2022 Eurobasket qualifiers with the intention of maintaining its good moment of results on the MoraBanc Andorra’s court (Sunday 28, 12:30 p.m., Poliesportiu d'Andorra, Movistar Deportes) in a game corresponding to round 24 of the national competition.

The taronja squad faces the second stage of its Super Tour with the emotional boost of its solid victory on the Zenit St. Petersburg court and the objective of keeping its streak open in the Endesa League. A victory in the Principality would mean the 13th win in a row in acb, which would allow Ponsarnau's men to equal the second best winning streak in the Endesa League in the history of the Club.

To do this, they will have to impose their accuracy and their offensive rhythm against an opponent that stands out for its physical defense that made them the team which allows the fewest points in the championship outside of the other three Euroleague teams.

Guillem Vives (back) remains sidelined, Josep Puerto will return to the roster, Joan Sastre will return to play in the Endesa League after overcoming his injury and one of the non-Spanish players will have to be the technical dismissal. Currently Derrick Williams is deactivated, although changes can be made until Sunday morning at nine in the morning. Valencia Basket occupies the fifth position in the Endesa League, with a balance of 16-6.
