Valencia Basket opens its eighth semifinal of the decade on the Real Madrid's court

05/06/2021

Valencia Basket opens its ninth semifinal (the eighth in the last ten seasons) of the Endesa League visiting the Real Madrid’s court (Sunday 6, 6:30 p.m., Wizink Center, #Vamos) just 42 hours after finishing the battle that supposed to beat TD Systems Baskonia at La Fonteta and survive in the quarterfinals series.

Despite the accumulated wear, the taronja squad has the hard task and the ambition to try to repeat a triumph that it has already achieved twice this season on the white team's court (won in the Endesa League and Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games) although Valencia Basket fell on this same court and against this rival clearly in the Copa del Rey.

The general precedents are unfavorable to the taronja team, which has only been able to knock down the whites once of the six previous occasions in which has faced Real Madrid in the Playoffs and has won only 21% of the games in this court. Although this season Valencia Basket has won three of the five previous games against Pablo Laso's men.

Our team has its full roster available and will travel this afternoon by train to Madrid, where they will have a work session on the stage of the game before game 1.
