Valencia Basket legends return to action in France

01/07/2022

The Valencia Basket veterans team will participate in the third edition of the Vin't'age Basketball Challenge, which takes place from today until Sunday July 3 in Mâcon, France.

The tournament will take place at the Etoile Sportive Prissé Mâcon pavilion and aims to bring together new and old generations. Each team will have to bring 7 players competing in the national leagues and 7 veteran players over 36 years old, as well as their own coaches.

The Taronja team will be the only non-French team participating in this competition, with Antoine Rigaudeau as one of the images of the tournament.

The team members have landed this morning in Lyon. Their debut will be this evening at 19:00 against Beaujolais. On Saturday, they will play two matches: the first at 11:30 against Jura and the second at 18:10 against Grand Ouest.

The final is scheduled for Sunday at 14:30 and, prior to this match, an All Star will be played with players from the teams that did not make it to the final.

In addition to the presence of Antoine Rigaudeau in the roster, several former club legends will be in action, such as JJ Llamas and captain Víctor Luengo, who will once again lead the team.
