A Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana absolutely on fire, next challenge for Valencia Basket

Valencia Basket closes the away-games chapter in the 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season visiting the court of the hottest team in the competition, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (Wednesday 30, 8:00 p.m., Arena Stozice, DAZN) in a round 17 game.

 

With a position among the top four in group B and home court advantage in the Eightfinals already guaranteed, the taronja team will have the first opportunity in Slovenia to achieve the victory they need to add (either in this game or in the last round against ratiopharm Ulm) to ensure one of the first two places in the group and keep their chances of being first alive (for which the taronja squad need to win the two games they have left and Gran Canaria lose them both).

 

It will not be easy for him due to the positive streak of his rival and the absences in the guards rotation in which the Slovenian Klemen Prepelic, who had surgery on Monday for a fracture of the ulna and radius in his left arm and is sidelined for the remainder of the season, joins the already known absences of Sam Van Rossom and Neno Dimitrijevic. The young players from L'Alqueria del Basket will once again complete the roster for this game.
