RULES OF ACCESS. STAY AND CONDUCT AT THE ROIG ARENA FACILITIES DURING VALENCIA BASKET CLUB´S GAMES
- Prohibitions of access and stay:
Access and, consequently, entry and stay at the Roig Arena facilities, or at any venue where Valencia Basket Club games are held, will be denied to anyone who falls under the following circumstances: - Those without a season ticket, entry ticket, and/or another valid access pass (including minors from 0 years old and up, who also require a valid entry ticket and/or access pass).
- Those who have participated in altercations, fights, or public disorder in or around the Roig Arena facilities, or who may pose a risk to the safety of attendees, as well as those who do not comply with security staff instructions.
- Those banned from accessing other venues of similar nature.
- Those whose behavior may be deemed inappropriate, offensive, violent, or inciting racism or discrimination of any kind on the basis of birth, race or ethnicity, disability, religion or beliefs, sex, sexual orientation, or any other personal or social condition.
- Those who are visibly intoxicated or under the influence of narcotics, psychotropics, stimulants, or beverages with similar effects.
- Those barefoot or bare-chested.
- Those who fail to comply with any of the access or stay conditions established in Law 19/2007 of July 11, against violence, racism, xenophobia, and intolerance in sports, and/or its implementing regulations.
Access and stay of minors:
- Minors under 16 years old are not allowed to access the Roig Arena facilities unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Adults accompanying minors are responsible for their supervision, as well as ensuring their knowledge of and compliance with these regulations.
- Attendees between 16 and 18 years old accessing without an accompanying adult will do so under the responsibility of their parents or legal guardians, who are accountable for their knowledge and compliance with these regulations.
Prohibited items:
- It is prohibited to access, introduce, carry, or use inside the Roig Arena facilities:
- Any type of weapons or objects that could cause similar effects, such as sharp or cutting items; as well as flares, firecrackers, explosives, or, in general, flammable, smoke-producing, or corrosive products and pyrotechnic devices.
- Objects of any kind deemed capable of being used as projectiles or thrown items by security staff, or those exceeding 500 grams or 500 milliliters in volume.
- Tennis balls, golf balls, footballs, toilet paper rolls, or other similar items that may pose a risk to event safety.
- Large objects such as suitcases, boxes, non-folding umbrellas, motorcycle/bicycle/scooter helmets, baby strollers, etc., or any other item that (i) may obstruct evacuation, (ii) could be used as a weapon or projectile, or (iii) may disrupt the normal functioning of the event, all subject to security staff’s discretion. Only small backpacks or bags of up to 25 liters capacity are allowed.
- Banners, flags, symbols, or signs with messages that incite violence, are offensive, contain threats or insults, target individuals or groups, or imply any type of discrimination on the basis of birth, race or ethnicity, disability, religion or beliefs, sex, sexual orientation, or any other personal or social condition, or that violate the dignity of individuals or legal entities, whether public or private institutions. Especially prohibited are those that attack the honor, privacy, and image of Valencia Basket and its related individuals.
- Banners, flags, symbols, or signs exceeding 2x3m/3x2m (with 2m or 3m being the maximum length or width). In no case may they include poles or rigid supports unless previously authorized by Valencia Basket and recorded in the corresponding Registry Book.
- Megaphones and drums, unless previously authorized by Valencia Basket and recorded in the Registry Book in accordance with Law 19/2007 of July 11.
- Horns and whistles.
- Professional photography and video equipment, TV cameras, or professional microphones, tablets, laptops, and/or similar devices without Valencia Basket’s authorization. Broadcasting, reproduction, or providing images or sounds of the event to third parties is strictly prohibited.
- Illegal substances, drugs, narcotics, psychotropic substances, or, in general, items that may pose a risk to the integrity of persons or property within the Roig Arena facilities, including CBD products.
- Any other items prohibited by law or regulation, especially those under Law 19/2007.
- The Operator is not responsible for the loss or theft of attendees’ belongings during their stay at the Roig Arena facilities.
Security checks:
- Attendees may be subject to searches by security staff at the entrance, in compliance with applicable regulations. Refusal to undergo searches may result in denied entry.
- Bags and backpacks may be inspected, in accordance with current regulations.
- The Roig Arena facilities provide a cloakroom service for attendees to deposit objects not allowed inside, subject to the cloakroom service’s specific rules.
Drinks:
- Attendees may bring water in transparent plastic, laminated paper, or similar containers, without caps or lids, up to 50cl (small bottle). For safety reasons, no other type of beverage (alcoholic, soft drinks, or similar) is allowed. The sale, distribution, and supply of alcoholic beverages to minors under 18 years of age is prohibited inside the Roig Arena. Alcohol sales, supply, and consumption in public areas outside the venue is strictly forbidden.
Food:
- Packaged food is allowed, provided it is not carried in rigid containers (metal, glass, ceramic, or similar) and does not require the use of cutlery.
General behavior:
- To remain inside the Roig Arena facilities, spectators must:
- Respect and comply with these rules of access and conduct, as well as any applicable regulations for the specific event, and follow instructions regarding seating and safety from law enforcement and security staff.
- Not disturb public order, start or participate in altercations, fights, or any type of disorder. No violent acts or aggression of any kind are permitted. No objects may be thrown.
- Not remain in aisles, stairways, emergency exits, or circulation areas for safety reasons.
- Not enter the court, areas reserved for match staff, Valencia Basket staff, or any restricted space not designated for spectators.
- Not engage in chants, expressions, insults, sounds, or behaviors that incite violence or terrorism, or demean individuals or groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, disability, religion or beliefs, sex, or sexual orientation, or that attack the honor, privacy, and image of Valencia Basket.
- Not disturb other attendees, climb onto seats, or block visibility. In case of complaints from other spectators, attendees must remain seated.
- Not smoke anywhere inside the Roig Arena, indoors or outdoors.
- Not collect event-related statistical data by any means (material, electronic, or otherwise) except for personal and private use.
- Follow security staff instructions during evacuations, respecting neighbors’ peace.
Animals:
- Animals are not permitted inside the Roig Arena. Only duly certified assistance dogs are allowed.
Tickets:
- Attendees must keep their season ticket or entry ticket (printed or digital) during their stay at the Roig Arena.
- No changes or refunds are allowed.
- Attendees must occupy only the seat corresponding to their ticket/access pass and present it upon request by security forces or Valencia Basket/Roig Arena staff.
- Attendees must respect maximum capacity limits in designated areas.
- Once attendees leave the Roig Arena, re-entry will not be permitted.
- Entry may be denied to holders of tickets not purchased through official channels.
Video surveillance and image recording:
- The Roig Arena is a video-monitored area, as indicated by posted signs and in accordance with current regulations.
- Additionally, due to the nature of the event, which may be broadcast in whole or in part through various channels, attendees are informed that they may be recorded and their image may appear in different media. If this is an issue, please contact the organization.
Reinforced security games:
- If the match circumstances indicate an extraordinary risk, Valencia Basket, in coordination with law enforcement, may activate a Reinforced Security Protocol, which may include the following measures:
- Ban on entry of flags of any type and/or identifying team symbols.
- Prohibition of season ticket transfers.
- Suspension of ticket sales.
- Cancellation of previously purchased tickets.
- Holding the match behind closed doors.
- Access subject to presentation of personal identification documents.
- Any other measures deemed appropriate depending on the circumstances.
These measures may also be applied, alongside additional directives from authorities, if a Valencia Basket match is declared High Risk under Law 19/2007.
Attendees accept to fully cooperate with security staff and competent authorities regarding any actions or information requests made inside or around the Roig Arena.
Failure to comply with these rules or with any other applicable regulations will result in the loss of entry rights and immediate expulsion from the venue, in addition to possible criminal or administrative consequences, as well as temporary or permanent withdrawal of Valencia Basket season tickets.
These rules are an extract and do not replace the Internal Regulations of the Sports Venue, which apply in full and bind all attendees upon entry.
The Organizer reserves the right to take legal or extrajudicial actions in this regard.
