A diminished Valencia Basket opens the second leg against the champion Anadolu Efes Istanbul

Valencia Basket men’s team will face the first of its three games in five days this week opening the second leg of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague hosting the current double champion of the tournament, Anadolu Efes Istanbul (Wednesday 11, 8:30 p.m., Fonteta, DAZN) in a round 18 game of the maximum continental competition.

 

The game will be marked by the Taronja infirmary, which with the confirmation this Tuesday of the injuries for next month of Jasiel Rivero and Jared Harper increases the number of players who will miss this week's games due to injury to six (Van Rossom Claver, Hermannsson and Millán Jiménez still sidelined).

 

Coach Mumbrú will have ten players from the Taronja first team to face this game and will have to complete the roster with the youngsters from L'Alqueria del Basket Lucas Marí and Sergio De Larrea.

 

The precedents at home are favorable to the Taronja team, which has won four of the five visits by this Turkish team to La Fonteta. And the record is tied to five wins for each side after the Taronja victory in Istanbul in the first leg game, so tomorrow's game will tip the balance toward one of the two sides.
