Barcelona, last station in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague
Valencia Basket will close
its seventh participation in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague by visiting FC
Barcelona's court on Friday, April 14 at 8:30 p.m. in a game in which the
Taronja team will try to find a prestigious win to dismiss this competition.
Although they no longer have options to extend their participation in the
tournament, Álex Mumbrú's men will try to break their losing streak as visitors
in the top continental competition and look for a victory that would allow the taronja squad to equal their best record of victories away from home in the Euroleague. And
that, accompanied by other results, would even allow Valencia Basket to climb a couple of
positions in the final standings. He will face a rival who will surely want to
show his best version after chaining two defeats in Milan and Bilbao and who,
before jumping onto the Palau Blaugrana parquet, will know if still has a
mathematical chance of being second at the end of the regular season if he gets
the victory against the Valencians or if he cannot rise from the third position that currently occupies.
