Carrera undergoes successful surgery for meniscus injury
The women's proffesional team player Raquel Carrera, who suffered a crack in the external meniscus of her left leg nine days ago, has undergone a successful operation by Dr. Cugat in Barcelona. An arthroscopy has been performed and the medical services have decided to complete a meniscal suture in order to safeguard the player's sporting future and for her to return in the best possible condition. For this reason, the estimated recovery period is six months.
