Clash at the top of the Liga Endesa against Real Madrid.

Valencia Basket men's team will play their third game in a row at La Fonteta within five days, just over 43 hours after losing at home for the first time. The taronja squad will face a high-stakes game at the top of the Liga Endesa standings against Real Madrid (Sunday 22, 18:30h, Fonteta, Movistarplus+, Movistar Deportes), where the winner will end this 12th round as the leader of the competition.

The game will once again highlight the needs of those affected by the DANA of October 29 and focus on proposals to address related problems through the “15 games, 15 initiatives” campaign.

The Valencia team will look to take advantage of the momentum of a packed Fonteta to witness what could be the last visit to this venue from their most frequent opponent in the Liga Endesa (unless these teams meet again in the acb playoffs), and to recover from the fatigue of an overtime loss.

Our team will try stay true to a style that has made them the best offensive team in the competition, aiming to challenge the league's best defense. Although the historical record favors the visiting team by 19-25, Valencia Basket broke their losing streak in the regular ACB season against this rival last year.

Regarding Friday's game, Valencia will welcome back center Amida Brimah (ineligible for the postponed game) and will keep the same three injured players (De Larrea, Happ, and Reuvers).

Valencia Basket leads the Liga Endesa with a 9-2 record and a +132 in their overall Basket-average.
