Competition gives no respite to Valencia Basket with the visit to the court of Acunsa GBC

Valencia Basket returns to compete just 42 hours after the physical waste the taronja squad had to do to contain and knock down Fenerbahçe Beko Istanbul to visit the Acunsa GBC’s court (Sunday 14, 5:00 p.m., Donostia-San Sebastián Arena 2016, Movistar Deportes 1) in a game corresponding to round 26 of the Endesa League.

 

The taronja team will have to recover all the energy possible to try to continue adding in the Endesa League in its comeback to try to get among the Top-4 of the national competition on a court where has won in its last three visits, but in the last one suffered to win with a winner shot from Fernando San Emeterio.

 

Coach Jaume Ponsarnau has his entire roster available before the practice of this morning at L'Alqueria del Basket, so he will have to leave two players out of the final 12-men list for tomorrow's game, with Vanja Marinkovic being the one who it’s deactivated right now.

 

The strong blow that Bojan Dubljevic received on his right hand during yesterday's game may be another element to take into account when drawing up the list of players who will fly to San Sebastián in the late afternoon. Valencia Basket currently occupies the fifth position in the Endesa League with 17-7 in the standings.
