Defeat on the FC Barcelona’s court to open the second round of the Euroleague (89-72)
Valencia Basket could not open with a win the
second leg of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague after falling at the Palau
Blaugrana by 89-72 in a game in which the taronja squad started badly, recovered
with a 0-13 run to get to three at the beginning of the third quarter and could
not find accuracy against the blue and purple defense in the second half. Mike
Tobey (14-10), Labeyrie with 17 points and Sastre with 13 were the most
outstanding players in the taronja team.
