Direct clash in the top zone of the group with the visit of Buducnost Voli Podgorica

Valencia Basket opens a series of three games in which it will face the other three teams from the Top-4 of the 7DAYS EuroCup group B in a row, hosting Buducnost Voli Podgorica at La Fonteta (Tuesday 25, 8:30 p.m., DAZN) in a continental tournament round 11 game.

 

After his comeback and victory in Patras with only six professional players in the roster and after postponing its game against Gran Canaria in the Endesa League until Friday 28, coach Joan Peñarroya will once again have available Bojan Dubljevic, Klemen Prepelic, Jaime Pradilla, Xabi López-Arostegui and Jasiel Rivero, sidelined last week due to their COVID-19 positives, so the long-term injured Víctor Claver (left foot) will be the only confirmed sidelined player in the taronja squad.

 

With the capacity of the Fonteta reduced to 50% due to the new security measures decreed by the health institutions, all those season ticket holders who have not exercised the option of freezing their season tickets during the month of January have guaranteed access to this big game.

 

The Taronja team will try to keep their good streak open in European competition (they have won six of their last seven games) against a rival they have always beaten in their clashes at La Fonteta and against whom a win by two or more points will  allow Valencia Basket to winning the particular basket-average against one of the rivals called to fight for the first positions of the group.

 

To do this, the taronja squad must impose his offensive efficiency against one of the best defenses in the competition. Valencia Basket currently occupies the third position in group B of the 7DAYS EuroCup with a balance of 7-3 in the standings.
