Carrera, Buenavida, Flórez, Pueyo, and Araújo will join the Spanish national team as they prepare for the World Cup

Valencia Basket players Raquel Carrera, Elena Buenavida, Alicia Flórez, Helena Pueyo, and María Araújo will join the Spanish national team’s training camp to prepare for the World Cup, which will take place from September 4 to 13 in Germany. The five players, along with former Valencia Basket player and Mur dels Somins member Awa Fam, have been named to the 21-player roster for this preparatory phase.
The training camp will begin on August 4 with 16 of them, and they will later be joined by those currently playing in the WNBA, such as Raquel Carrera and Alicia Flórez. They will join the team in late August.
