Valencia Basket secured a 79-111 victory at MoraBanc Andorra’s notoriously difficult home court. Although Valencia held the lead from the second quarter onwards, they were unable to truly pull away until the third, when inspired spells—first from Brooks and then from Mario Saint-Supery—paved the way for their fourth Liga Endesa win.
Quotes Xavi Albert
“We have experience playing at this arena—it’s a tough place, and it’s hard to shift your mindset because of the atmosphere it creates; we’ve always struggled here. The first half was a bit like that—we did some things well, but other aspects became complicated, and we couldn’t control them defensively. In the second half, we really stepped up, maintaining a high level of play, staying focused on the fundamentals, avoiding complacency, and closing out the game the way we did. I’m pleased; it was a three-game week that involved travel, and this really shows the team’s spirit.”
