Josep Puerto extends his contract with Valencia Basket until 2027

Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with the captain of its men’s team, Spanish international forward Josep Puerto (1.99m, Almussafes, 03/08/1999, 26 years old), to extend the contractual relationship between both sides for two more seasons, until June 30, 2027. The Valencian forward is currently in his ninth season as part of the professional Taronja squad, the first as team captain, during which he is delivering his best statistical performance to date both in the Liga Endesa and in European competition.

His development has also earned him a debut with the Spanish National Team this season. He became the fourth player from the Mur dels Somnis to achieve this milestone, appearing in the EuroBasket 2025 qualifying windows.
