Loss to Fenerbahce at Roig Arena (69-88)
J1 EUROLEAGUE WOMEN
Valencia Basket was unable to secure a victory on the first game of the EuroLeague Women against Fenerbahce Tarfin at the Roig Arena. The Taronja team fought hard but was outmatched by the Turkish team’s physicality and shooting accuracy. After a tough first half, Valencia Basket played better in the second, doing a better job of containing Fenerbahce, though they ultimately couldn’t break through the defense. Without a doubt, the most disappointing moment of the night was Alexis-Peterson Smalls’ injury in the fourth quarter after landing awkwardly.
