Lucas Marí returns to Valencia Basket as a men's team player
MEN'S TEAM
Valencia Basket and shooting guard Lucas Marí (Godella, 1.97 m, October 20, 2005, age 20) have reached an agreement for the Spanish player to return to the Taronja men’s team. Last season, the club and Marí agreed to his departure so that the player could continue his development in the U.S. Collegiate League (NCAA), while retaining his rights, and he will now return to join the team coached by Xavi Albert.
The Taronja youth product spent the 2025–26 season at the University of Vermont, where he had a great personal, academic, and athletic experience. He played a total of 30 games, averaging 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in an average of 20 minutes on the court.
