Rubén Burgos will continue to make history, now as part of the club's sports structure

After nine successful years coaching the women’s team—during which he was the driving force behind the project’s growth and consolidation and a key figure in the team’s 11 titles—Rubén Burgos is now taking on a new challenge at Valencia Basket, where he will continue to contribute his vision and experience as part of the club’s sports organization.

The Valencian coach, who holds the record for most games coached in the Club’s history (417), and Valencia Basket have agreed that he will now embark on a new journey in which he will undergo training and put his knowledge to work for the organization from the front office, joining the aforementioned sports department. In the coming months, Rubén will complete his training for this new role, and once that is done, he will strengthen the women’s team’s sports management with his work. The Club would like to thank Rubén for his commitment, loyalty, and love for the project, demonstrating his enthusiasm for this new challenge from the moment the opportunity arose.
