Valencia Basket players played a prominent role with their national teams in the games of this second window for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers. Isaac Nogués made his official debut with the national team in Thursday’s game against Ukraine, while our loaned player at Peristeri BC, Álvaro Cárdenas, was one of Spain’s standout performers in the two games that secured the national team’s mathematical qualification for the second round of World Cup qualifying, with two games still to be played in this first round. Meanwhile, Brancou Badio led Senegal to two victories in the two games in which he was available for his national team.
