The new Valencia Basket store at the Roig Arena has been inaugurated

Valencia Basket has officially opened the doors of its new store and season ticket holder service office at the Roig Arena with an inauguration ceremony in which the general manager of Valencia Basket, Enric Carbonell, and Amparo Roig representing ERRE Arquitectura carried out the traditional ribbon cutting of the new establishment after a presentation outside, in front of the façade of this new orange meeting point in our new home.

The first to speak was Valencia Basket’s head of business, Merche Añón, who stated that it was “a source of pride to welcome everyone to the inauguration of this new space for all Valencia Basket fans, which is our store and fan service office. The orange hub at the Roig Arena. First of all, I want to thank the joint work of all the companies that took part in the project. This new space is designed by and for the fans. It’s a street-level venue where, in one unique place, the store coexists with the ticket-holder service office and will soon open the doors to the future museum and tour that we will launch in the coming months. And none of this would be possible without the help of our patrons.”

José García, president of the new technical sponsor and the brand responsible for outfitting the Valencia Basket teams, the Danish company hummel, warmly remembered his predecessor Luanvi and Vicente Tarancón before expressing his gratitude for “the opportunity to accompany Valencia Basket in this new chapter. For us, it is both a great honor and a huge responsibility. We hope to live up to the expectations of all the fans, all the club professionals, its president, and the entire Valencia Basket family with our products, because in the end the product is the first thing that connects with the fan’s skin. And that leads us to a language that is common to everyone, which is the language of emotions.”

Women’s first team captain Queralt Casas and men’s team player Nate Reuvers presented commemorative jerseys to hummel’s representative at the inauguration, which culminated with the ribbon cutting and a group photo that, in addition to our patron Juan Roig, featured Enric Carbonell, Valencia Basket president Vicente Solá, Amparo Roig and José Martí representing ERRE Arquitectura, Roig Arena’s technical director Víctor Ferré, and Roig Arena’s general manager Víctor Sendra.

The store was open to the public immediately after the presentation ceremony, and today, Monday, it will remain open exceptionally until 8:30 p.m. due to the program of festive activities to celebrate the opening. Entertainment, a photo call, an autograph signing session with players Nate Sestina and Leticia Romero, and a special promotion offering free customization of the new official jersey will take place in an event starting at 6:00 p.m. this Monday, August 25.
