Main Female Team

After nine years under the leadership of Rubén Burgos, who will now join the sports structure, a new era begins for the women's team with the appointment of Javier Torralba as head coach for the next three seasons, through 2028/29.

The Spanish coach joins from Segle XXI, where, since 2018, he has been responsible for one of the best academies of Spanish players in Europe. Since 2020, he has also coached the team in Liga Femenina 2, having worked with several Valencia Basket players, including Elena Buenavida and the recently signed Helena Pueyo, as well as various talents from the Spanish national team. Now, Torralba takes on this new challenge, bringing his experience, knowledge of women's basketball, and ability to develop his players' talent to Valencia Basket.

Under his leadership, the Club will begin its ninth season in the top flight, in a context marked by the rising level and increasing demands of the competitions, with the aim of further consolidating a project that proves competitive year after year.

The manager will be officially presented in the coming weeks at a press conference; details will be announced very soon.
