Valencia Basket heads to LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne for its most frequent road matchup in European competition

Valencia Basket men's team will play the second game of its first EuroLeague double-header on the road as it visits LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne (Friday 2, 8:00 PM, LDLC Arena, M+ Baloncesto 3) in a game corresponding to Round 3 of the EuroLeague.

This French opponent will become the first team to host Valencia Basket in a European competition game on ten occasions, making Lyon the most frequently visited destination in the club's history in European competitions. It will also draw level with Panathinaikos Athens as the team Valencia Basket has faced the most times in international competitions.

Boosted by Tuesday's victory, Xavi Albert's men will be looking to secure another win on a court that has historically proven very challenging for the taronja side, although recent results have been encouraging, with Valencia Basket winning each of its last three visits to LDLC ASVEL.

With the entire roster available, the taronja team has travelled with a 14-player squad for this two-game road trip, which will conclude with an Endesa League matchup in Zaragoza following Friday's game in France.

Valencia Basket currently sits fourth in the EuroLeague standings with a 2-0 record.
