Valencia Basket opens its Liga Endesa Playoff semifinal vs. Asisa Joventut at Roig Arena
Liga Endesa Playoffs

Valencia Basket men's team will have the advantage of playing in front of their home fans after securing second place in the regular season, as they begin their Liga Endesa semifinal series against Asisa Joventut (Wednesday 10, 8:00 p.m., Roig Arena, DAZN/Movistar+/Orange/Vodafone TV). This will be the opening chapter of what promises to be a fiercely contested best-of-five series between the two teams with the strongest defensive performances so far this season.
The second-ever playoff meeting between these two clubs comes in Valencia Basket's eleventh Liga Endesa semifinal appearance. It is the fourth time they have enjoyed home-court advantage in the semifinals and the third time they have reached this stage by taking the shortest route through the previous round.
The Taronja side will look to extend their strong domestic form against an opponent they have enjoyed favorable results against both this season and in recent home encounters. Even so, Pedro Martínez's men had to work hard in both meetings and were unable to pull away from this rival at Roig Arena until the closing stages, both in the ACB regular season (102–90) and in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals (95–84).
Valencia Basket will continue to be without the injured Xabi López-Arostegui and Josep Puerto, whose absences have already been confirmed.
