Valencia Basket returns to Roig Arena for semifinals game 2 against Asisa Joventut
Liga Endesa Playoffs

Valencia Basket men’s team returns to action in front of its home crowd to face Asisa Joventut in the second game of their Liga Endesa semifinal series (Friday 12, 8:00 p.m., Roig Arena, DAZN/Movistar+/Orange/Vodafone TV), after claiming the opening point of the series in a memorable contest that ended in a 118-117 overtime victory.
The orange squad managed, in dramatic fashion, to keep its positive momentum alive, extending its winning streak to seven wins in a row while also maintaining the strong home record it has built against this opponent in recent seasons. However, Valencia will need to recover as well as possible and harness the extra energy provided by its fans to produce another heroic effort and try to contain the outstanding offensive form Joventut has displayed over the last two games. The Badalona side has averaged 107 points and 16 three-pointers per game during that span, shooting an excellent 48.4% from beyond the arc.
Although Valencia has won all three meetings played at Roig Arena so far, each victory has required a significant effort to secure, both in the ACB regular season (102-90), the Copa del Rey quarterfinals (95-84), and especially in the opening game of this series.
Center Nate Reuvers, who was forced to leave the court just 15 seconds after entering Game 1, is highly unlikely to feature in this matchup due to a left ankle injury. His absence would add to the already confirmed unavailability of Xabi López-Arostegui and Josep Puerto.
