Valencia Basket shifts its focus to the Liga Endesa with an away game against Baxi Manresa

Liga Endesa round 29

Miguel Ángel Polo

Valencia Basket men’s team closes out a very demanding week of three games by visiting Baxi Manresa’s court (Sunday 3rd, 12:00 pm, Nou Congost, DAZN/Movistar+/TV3) in a Round 29 Liga Endesa matchup.

The “taronja” side puts European competition on hold and focuses on an important game as they aim to maintain their strong position in the ACB standings. A win would secure their place in the Liga Endesa Playoffs for the 20th consecutive season.

Sunday’s game is far from the easiest setting to return to winning ways. Pedro Martínez’s team faces the second-fastest team in the league in terms of possessions, coming off two intense and physically demanding battles in the EuroLeague Playoffs, with the resulting accumulated fatigue.

Recent history is also unfavorable, as Valencia Basket has lost in its last three visits to Nou Congost and in five of its last trips to Manresa.

Xabi López-Arostegui remains the only confirmed absentee for the “taronja” side due to injury.

Valencia Basket begins this Liga Endesa round in second place with a 21–7 record
