Xabi López-Arostegui, 100 games in Europe with Valencia Basket

Forward Xabi López-Arostegui became last night, in the victory against Dubai Basketball, the tenth player in the history of our men’s first team to reach 100 games in European competitions wearing the orange jersey.
The Spanish international played his 60th game for Valencia Basket in the EuroLeague, placing him ninth in the club’s all-time rankings in the top continental competition, tied with Rafa Martínez. In addition, he has played 40 EuroCup games with the team, having been selected last season for the competition’s Second All-EuroCup Team.
Xabi is currently in his fifth season with Valencia Basket and recently entered the club’s Top 20 for most games played with the men’s first team. Specifically, his 232 appearances in the orange jersey place him 18th on the all-time list.
