First chance to get the ticket to the semifinals with the visit to the Rytas Vilnius’ court
Valencia Basket visits for the second time in its European history the court of Rytas Vilnius (Friday 8, 18:00h, Siemens Arena, Teledeporte) in the 7DAYS EuroCup quarterfinals game 2. After taking the first game of the series, played on Tuesday in Valencia, by a score of 75-64, the taronja squad has their first chance to certify its tickets to the semifinals if they can win at the Siemens Arena.
Valencia Basket puts into play in Vilnius a streak in European competition of eleven wins in a row, five of them as a visitor (does not lose out on EuroCup since he visited the LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne’s court on November 6). And for that he will have to break a bad dynamic in the playoffs as a visitor in this competition, since he has not been able to take the win away from the Fonteta in Playoff in his last four visits. The taronja squad had called twelve players for this game, pointguard Antoine Diot (caution for some discomfort in the hamstrings of the left leg) and Sergi Garcia stayed in Valencia.
