Jaume Ponsarnau assesses the roster before the start of the preseason
A little less than a week
before the preseason begins and with some players already in the city doing
individual work, the coach of the Valencia Basket men's team Jaume Ponsarnau
makes an x-ray of the roster that he will have for the 2019-20 season. The
taronja coach acknowledges that to face a season with such a long and
complicated calendar, it’s cristal clear that “we had to make a long roster, to face and have maximum capacity
throughout the season. And it was good to face it not only with a long squad
but also with good players. And we are very satisfied. We have made a roster
without big stars but with very good players. They are all very good players
and that has to help us be as much competitive as we can be”
