La Fonteta decides the ticket to EuroCup Finals in a BIG game vs. Virtus Segafredo Bologna

La Fonteta will once again experience a night of European big game with the single-leg semi-final Playoff of the 7DAYS EuroCup that will take the Valencia Basket men's team to face Virtus Segafredo Bologna (Wednesday 4, 8:30 p.m., Fonteta, DAZN/ Telesport).

 

The second place obtained in the Regular Season allows the Taronja squad to enjoy the support of their fans in this key game in which they face their most difficult challenge to extend a positive streak at La Fonteta, which is already 16 wins in a row to take which would be his seventh ticket to the final of this competition in thirteen participations.

 

In a game in which captain Bojan Dubljevic could play his 206th match in European competitions and would catch Rafa Martínez as the player with the most games played for Valencia Basket in continental tournaments, the Taronja squad will face for the third time this season an opponent which has won in the two precedents of this same season and in the two previous occasions in which the Black and White squad has visited the Fonteta.

 

The best scorer against the black and whites in the two wins this season, the long-term injured Klemen Prepelic, will be sidelined nor Hanlan (signed after the end of the registration period) although the two players who missed Saturday's game due to injury (Hermannsson with an overload in his right calf and Josep Puerto with a sprained right ankle) will be in the squad to help the team in this semi-final.
