Last away game of the BKT EuroCup group stage at Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana's court
Valencia Basket men’s team begins a week of two consecutive away games after two home victories, starting with a visit to the court of Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (Tuesday, 28th, 18:30h, Arena Stozice, #Vamos) in a BKT EuroCup round 17 game that will be the team's final away game in the Regular Season.
With first place in the group already secured, Pedro Martínez's men must continue to win to finish the Regular Season as the best team in the competition. This feat would give them a home-court advantage in all knockout rounds.
Valencia Basket will have a tough task ahead in a venue where they lost in their only previous visit to this team. They have a historic record of three losses in four official games played at the Stozice Arena. However, in the first-leg game, the Taronga team won decisively, with eight players reaching double digits in efficiency.
For this game, the team will welcome back Senegalese guard Brancou Badio, who missed the last two games due to a strong bruise on his right thigh. The team will also push for the possibility of having Dominican Jean Montero, who is dealing with an ankle issue, available. Long-term injured player Ethan Happ remains out.
The taronja team currently holds the first position in Group B with a 14-2 record.
