Lorena Segura, silver medal in the U18 Women’s European Championship
The player of L'Alqueria of the Basket Lorena Segura has won tonight the silver medal in the Women’s European Championship after losing the final against Germany by a result of 54-67. Although the national team recovered from a 4-19 run, the German team still made the difference by reaching the half-time and dominated the game with clarity.
Lorena Segura was going up in importance throughout the tournament, stood out with 8 points in 8 minutes against Bosnia, participated 10 minutes in the quarterfinals against Belgium and started in the semifinals against Hungary. She scored 5 points in the last minutes of the gold-medal game
