Olympiacos’ fortress, next challenge for Valencia Basket in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague

Valencia Basket returns to the maximum continental competition two weeks after its brilliant win vs. CSKA Moscow with another major challenge: to try to extend its good dynamics (five victories in its last eight European competition matches) on the court of Olympiacos Piraeus (Thursday 22, 20: 00h, SEF, Movistar Deportes 2) in a match corresponding to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague round. An Erick Green with a specially honed focus since overcoming his injury (72% of 3-points accuracy) returns for the first time to the court of the team with which he was runner-up in the Euroleague last season.

 

The American shooting-guard will try to lead the Taronja offense against the team that best defends in the competition. Coach Txus Vidorreta will count in this game with the same call of the last matches, with the losses of the injured Guillem Vives, Antoine Diot, Sam Van Rossom and Latavious Williams. Valencia Basket currently occupies the 12th position of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, with a balance of 8W-14L.
