On the shore in an incredible fight against Maccabi (93-94)

Valencia Basket saw its Euroleague winning streak snapped despite a Fonteta's push to burst as it fell to Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv 93-94 in a game in which it had a shot to win. The Taronja team recovered from a bad start in the game and took the lead already in the middle of the first act, getting an advantage with two sparks from Prepelic that they knew how to maintain to go up ten at halftime. After the intermission, the Israeli team raised the physical bar to the extreme and recovered from their deficit to lead by up to ten points in the third quarter. Harper and Evans rescued the Taronja team at its worst moment and although Baldwin and Colson again stretched the Israeli lead with five minutes to go, the team gritted their teeth to have one last shot to win but Jones' three-pointer did not go in and the victory went to Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv.
