Opportunity to improve with the visit to the complicated court of Barça

Valencia Basket closes its first tour of the season visiting the Barça’s court (Sunday 13, 18:30h, Palau Blaugrana, #Vamos) in a game of the Endesa League round 4. The Taronja squad needs to improve their feelings after a bad game on the Olympiacos’ court against an opponent against whom they competed very well less than a month ago in the Endesa Super Cup semifinals and on a court where they have won in four of their Last eight visits in national competition.

 

To have options, the men of Jaume Ponsarnau must maintain the good defensive performance shown so far in Liga Endesa (73 points per game conceded) and maintain the good collective game in attack that has led the taronja squad to lead the acb in assists.

 

With two practices in Barcelona still ahead, Valencia Basket is awaiting the evolution of the medical issues of Louis Labeyrie (adductor long left leg) and Joan Sastre (who could not finish the game in Athens by a blow to the left knee) to decide a call for twelve players that must be defined before 2:00 pm on Sunday morning.
