Valencia Basket ended
their good visiting streak in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague in a game in
which they were clearly outclassed by Cazoo Baskonia by 114-75 after a first
half in which they could not contain the Vitorian team offense and a second
half in which the taronja squad was totally blocked in attack. The Taronja team
held on with short deficits for a good part of the first half, but the Baskonia
team found accuracy in the three-point shot and the final stretch of the second
quarter of Thompson pushed the local team to score 57 points and go up by nine
at halftime. Valencia Basket wanted to increase the intensity after the
intermission but was completely blocked in attack in the second half and Cazoo
Baskonia was adding to increase their income to a maximum of 39 points that
coincided with the final result.
