Spain U18M, with Josep Puerto, to the European Championship final vs. Serbia
Spain U18M Team will play
tomorrow Sunday August 6 at 20:15 hours the European final of the gold medal
game of the European Championship vs. Serbia after beating Turkey in the
semifinals (69-71) in another game with a large come-back and that was decided
in the last few seconds. The boys of Joaquín Prado were forced to come back 14
points after a bad first quarter, but they were already up in the half time and
redoled of a new Turkish pull with a 0-12 run in the last quarter that was
decisive. The success in the free throws of Sergi Martinez and a last rebound
of Josep Puerto certified the pass to the final.
